When I meet moms of addicts or other family members dealing with an addict in their lives, I immediately connect with them. I am here to give support and guidance for moms of addicts and other family members who deal with addiction in their lives. As the mom of an addict, I know the road is very lonely and seems hopeless.
I often tell moms of addicts, “I wish we didn’t have to meet in this way,” but life has a way of connecting all of us through difficult experiences.
When I was in the middle of my daughter Jamie’s addiction beast, right there with her, I felt so hopeless. I felt like my happiness was dependent on her actions, her health and safety, her choices and her ability to thrive in life.
If I had to rewrite my story, Jamie would be clean and sober, running around the USA with me sharing her testimony of overcoming addiction. She would be sharing hope with other families dealing with this addiction Beast. But this isn’t so. She was fatally shot in 2016 and it was exactly what I feared the most.
I am going to be very honest — if I didn’t have the Nine Action I created to deal with Jamie’s addiction “roller coaster from hell” — I would likely be in bed all day, feeling sorry for myself. When I tell you that I use the Nine Actions myself, it’s an understatement.
EVERY DAY I use the Nine Actions. I use them for ANYTHING life throws my way. Created out of desperation over my daughter’s addiction, these nine incredible techniques for battling any Beast life throws at you, are effective. Women across the country are using these actions to take their lives back and shed the years of guilt, shame and fear. They are learning how to LIVE again, and LOVE again. You can do this too.
I want to make working with me as simple as possible. The FIRST thing you should do, is read. These books are the foundation of everything I teach. Mental health practitioners are now learning about my message and they see how these Nine Actions can be highly effective. One of our sisterhood members changed so much her therapist even commented on how incredible she was doing — and her story involves MANY addicts in her family over many years..
