I Am Ready To Stand Up & Fight!
I have to tell you, you have really helped me firm up some decisions I’ve been putting off making. Until today.
I am reclaiming my life, if only for my husband and son. I have fallen too deep into the definition of “I’m an addict’s mom.” Today, I’ve called bs on myself. I am a daughter of God, a wife and a mother of three (one of whom happens to be an addict destroying everyone in her path.) I removed myself from that path and have only forward to go now. Thank you for sharing your own pain so that others, like myself, may draw strength. A million times, “thank you.”Jodi
The absolute best gift you’ve ever given yourself. Her words and your actions will give you back your life.Nina
Your book is real and raw and is what I understand. I don’t feel so alone and out of my mind anymore. Thank you for writing your story. There are so many moms walking this painful path, wondering where we went wrong. Standing together, reaching out to each other and holding hands is the lifesaver of us all.Cindy
Valerie, just finished your book and it was so helpful. Everything family counseling told me but in a language I felt was loving and not judging. Your book did more for me than all the hours of counseling ever did. You are a blessing…Nancy
